In the early 2030s, the Hyphendel Virus ravaged the livestock industry, it spread ruthlessly and quickly. In a matter of months it wiped out most of the world’s meat supply. The few animals that survived the virus were not safe for human consumption and in most cases, eating wild game was a path to certain death. 

Genetic Farms, a family-owned and operated source for lab grown meat since 2011, quickly became the nation's top supplier for a safe and trusted meal. The only problem was that they catered to the super rich and powerful families around the world with extreme price gouging that put the products out of reach for simple blue-collar families.

By 2042 most Americans had turned to vegetarianism as a secure method of survival. That is until Genetic Farms accepted a U.S. Government contract to create a new line of meat products for the average American family… Better known as the “Poor Class”. 

LINE 57, a new line of meat products, was created with one thing in mind and it wasn't what it appeared to be. It was laced with a biological weapon called “Specimen 57” something far worse than the Hyphendel Virus ever was. Its sole creation was population control, to rid the country of the poor class, so that the rich could live in a self proclaimed paradise. 

The problem was no one stopped to think about what happens when you mix Specimen 57, with the regenerative chemicals used to create cellular growth by Genetic Farms. The formation of hematopoietic stem cells in the brain simultaneously as death occurred was catastrophic, the poor class didn’t die or live… They became something far worse.
